Change or Revoke Access

Access can be updated or revoked as Project responsibilities change. Where you manage it depends on the User’s Role and access type.

Reviewer Access

Go to Project > Sharing > Secure Sharing to locate the Reviewer and update their:

  • Access window
  • File or folder access
  • Group membership
  • Feedback or download permissions

Revoke their secure access when they should no longer be able to open the Project.

Group Access

Go to Secure Sharing > Groups to:

  • Add or remove Reviewers
  • Change the Group’s file and folder access

Removing someone from a Group changes their Group permissions but may not revoke their overall Project access. Review their individual Secure Sharing access if they should no longer enter the Project.

Uploader Access

Go to Project > Sharing > Upload Access to update the Uploader’s Access Type or assigned folders.

Revoke Upload Access when the user no longer needs to submit files. Upload Access remains active until it is manually revoked.

Team Member Access

Team Member permissions are managed through the Organization Settings.

Organization Owners can update a Team Member’s permissions or remove them from the Organization when access is no longer required.

Enterprise Users can stop access through a Public Link by deleting the link.

Because anyone with the link may be able to access the content, regularly review active links and remove those no longer needed.

Before You Revoke Access

Confirm that you are changing the correct:

  • User or Group
  • Project or Organization
  • Access type
  • Files and folders

Quick tip: Review access regularly and grant only the permissions each User needs.
