Refer to this brief guide when you are uncertain which mode best suits your project.
A Project mode controls how the Project is presented and how people interact with it. Choose the mode that supports how the Project will be encountered by Users.

Workspace Mode
Choose Workspace Mode for collaborative Projects where people need to work through in-progress media, navigate through and organize folders, review many assets, compare versions, or collaborate on feedback.
Best For:
- Post-production collaboration
- Internal production review
- Dailies and rough cuts
- VFX, color, and sound review
- Vendor review
Theater Mode
Choose Theater Mode when the main goal is to present content to Reviewers in a polished, streaming-style environment. Folders appear as categories, and the mode is well suited to external or stakeholder viewing.
Best For:
- External stakeholder review
- Executive and compliance review
- Buyer screenings and/or Sales and distribution review
- Awards campaigns, Festival or market screeners
