Admin vs Review
ScreenKey is organized around two main workspaces: Admin and Review.
The workspace you use depends on what you need to do:
- Managing or uploading content? Go to Admin
- Watching, reviewing or approving content? Go to Review.
You can move between these workspaces using the navigation menu on the left side of ScreenKey.
Admin
Use the Admin workspace to create, upload, organize, manage and share media.
This workspace contains the Projects and Screening Rooms available within the Organization you are currently viewing.
Depending on your Team Member permissions, you may be able to:
- Create a new Project
- Upload and organize media
- Search and filter Projects
- Edit Project details
- Configure security and Project settings
- Share content with Reviewers
- Manage Screening Rooms
- Manage Users and access permissions
If you were invited to upload media
Invited Uploaders also access assigned Projects through the Admin workspace.
You must first accept the upload invitation and sign in using the same email address that received it. After the invitation has been accepted, the Project will appear in Admin.
Uploader access may be limited to specific folders or upload areas assigned by the Project Team.
If a Project is missing from Admin
Confirm that:
- You are signed in with the correct ScreenKey account.
- You have accepted the upload or Team Member invitation.
- You are viewing the Organization where the Project was created.
- Your Team Member or Uploader access has not been changed or revoked.
Review
Use the Review workspace to find and access content that other ScreenKey Users have shared with you.
Projects appear in Review after their invitations have been claimed. New or unclaimed invitations appear in a purple notification banner at the top of the Review workspace. Select the notification and claim the invitation using the ScreenKey account email address that received it.
Depending on the permissions granted by the sender, you may be able to:
- Watch or review shared media
- Enter a Screening Room
- Provide feedback or comments
- Approve or reject assigned media
- Download content
- Mark a Project review complete
- Return to previously claimed Projects
Understanding Review Statuses
Projects in Review display a status to help you identify what requires attention:
- Needs Review: The Project is available and waiting for your review.
- Completed: You have marked your review complete.
- Expired: The access window has ended and the Project is no longer available.
- Upcoming: The Project has been shared with you, but its access window has not started.
You can search by Project name, Organization, or filter Projects by review status.
If a Shared Project Is Missing
Confirm that:
- You are signed in using the email address that received the invitation.
- You have claimed the invitation.
- You are looking in the Review tab rather than the Admin tab.
- The Project’s access window has started and has not expired.
- The sender has not changed or revoked your access.
If the access window has expired, contact the sender to request renewed access.
